Job Purpose
|
|
The Clinic Support Specialist position is responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality occupational testing, and oversee day-to-day operations of the location. This role will also provide administrative support (appointment coordination, data entry, and Consortium Third Party Administration services etc.) for SureHire USA.

Job Conditions
|
|
The Clinic Support Specialist position is primarily based in an indoor office environment, however, this position may be required to travel to alternative job sites to perform occupational testing services or medical assessments. In these circumstances, the position may require working extended or irregular hours and/or shifts. A work from home hybrid model may also be considered.
The Clinic Support Specialist are required to dress in business casual attire while in the office. If required to work on-site, jeans and SureHire issued shirts/sweaters/jackets are appropriate alongside closed toe shoes.

Screening Requirements
|
|
This role has been assessed as a safety-sensitive position and pre-qualification alcohol and drug testing will be required as a precondition to employment. Additionally, a criminal record check, and driver's abstract will also be required as a condition of employment.
From time to time pre-access alcohol and drug testing may be required based on site requirements to complete occupational testing on a work site.

Job Responsibilities & Activities
Occupational Testing
-
Greet clients as they arrive for their occupational testing appointment providing an exceptional first impression and customer service

Complete the client intake process which includes verifying client identity, creating client files, and completing the necessary paperwork as required

Collect breath, urine, oral fluid, and hair specimens following standard chain of custody protocols and point-of-care testing is upheld

Administer a variety of occupational health services including hearing tests, respirator mask fittings, vision screens, all while ensuring high-quality results are achieved

Adhere to strict privacy and confidentiality protocols when handling sensitive client information such as personal details and test results
-
Operate and assist in maintaining various occupational testing equipment
-
When conducting occupational testing on site, comply with federal and jurisdictional motor carrier compliance requirements, including pre/post-trip inspections and checklists, daily driver logs, etc.

Organize and prepare required equipment and supplies to complete scheduled on site occupational testing services

Be expected to complete pre-access site requirements, as required

Travel to client’s work sites to administer various occupational testing services, which may involve overnight trips

Operational Clinic Support
-
Oversee inventory management processes to ensure accurate tracking, timely replenishment, and optimal levels of stock for efficient operations

Prepare and process shipments to clients participating in the customer collection program

Maintain clinic cleanliness, perform opening and closing tasks
Administrative Support
-
Assist with Consortium Third Party Administration Program as needed

Assist with USA appointment coordination as needed

Assist with USA data analysis, records management and quality control as needed

Education & Experience
|

A High School Diploma or GED is a minimum requirement
-
Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence & personal vehicle insurance, a clean driver’s abstract is required
-
Reliable personal vehicle transportation is required
-
Experience working in a sales, customer service role or in a clinical setting is viewed as an asset
-
Experience working in an occupational health clinic considered an asset
-
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are considered an asset
-
Fluency with general computer functions is regarded as an asset
-
Bilingual in English and Spanish is considered an asset.
